Apparently resembling a popular children’s toy from the 1960s and 70s, this antique relic was mistaken for «Clackers». As a result, many debates ensued about the true origins of this mysterious object.
However, Clackers were made of string and acrylic plastic balls. In contrast, this antique relic consists of two glass beads with a wooden or metal base and a steel rod.
So, what was the purpose of this vintage razor blade sharpener device? As the name suggests, it was used to sharpen razor blades in the 1930s.
