The school is the second home for every student. The most unforgettable years are spent in school, where childhood matures into youth. Saying goodbye to school and beloved teachers is often very sad. However, it’s not just the teachers who can touch the souls of children. Many American schools have security guards who ensure order and safety. In one such school, there was a security guard who not only fulfilled his duties but also became a friend to all the students. Everyone loved him, from elementary school kids to graduates. The security guard always had a joke ready to entertain the children.
Even the teachers liked him very much and often joked that the security guard was more important to the school than the teachers. One day, he announced that he would be leaving to go on vacation. Hearing this was very difficult for the children; they couldn’t imagine the school without their beloved guard. Not everyone can possess such qualities that children become so attached to. But the security guard didn’t just leave quietly.
Upon his departure, he decided to organize a surprise and invited several high school students to participate in his idea. The school prepared a concert, and the security guard decided to dance on stage during the event. He trained for several months with the kids and performed on the day of the concert in front of a fully packed auditorium with students and their parents. He wore his work uniform. The security guard began to dance. No one would have expected a security guard to dance like that. His first dance was hip-hop. For the second dance, a group of students joined him to the song «Can’t Touch This,» performing a pre-rehearsed routine.
Finally, the security guard performed another hip-hop dance and bid farewell to the teachers and students. It was an unforgettable performance. The children surrounded him and hugged him. It was very touching to see how much they loved their security guard. The man wished everyone a great school year and lots of knowledge, saying that he loved all the children and would always remember them and miss them dearly. He also promised to visit his favorite school from time to time. Such personnel should work in schools.
